My friend, Amy, often uses the term, "Pray Big" on her blog. Well, we're doing that this month.
We were "staffed" with only two sets of kids this month. One is a sibling group of three and one is a single little boy. He's six.
I read his file. I often read files and think, "Oh, that's sad." But this file, this little boy...I can't explain it, but something happened in my heart when I read his file. I actually FELT his pain.
I can't stop thinking about him. He needs to be in a place where he knows he is loved and safe. I pray that it's here. If it is not, we will continue to pray for him. I went to sleep praying for him and woke up praying for him. I don't know what God has in mind for him. Maybe he'll be part of our family. At the very least he'll be a part of my heart for a long time.
And here's the bonus: He looks just like us. :)

I will gladly pray BIG with you, sister. Trusting the ONE that knows every detail of this process.
We are praying BIG and are expecting our God to do big things in this little boys life!
...i sure do hope we get to meet him :)
