My husband was to be home today. As things often go, there has been a delay. I could have gone to the conference. Sad.
But I have discovered that I am exactly where I am supposed to be. I have been able to spend good time with my kids. I was able to spend time with a friend yesterday and pray with her.
The Lord has ministered to my heart all weekend. I have sacrificed the "good" for the "best" even though it is not what I wanted. It is amazing the blessing that comes from obedience.
So...I wait. I have prayed that as husband returns, I will be a woman who responds and doesn't react. Lord, please make it so.

While we did miss you at conference, I am glad that your time has been good and that Eric is HOME! yeah... praying for a smooth transition/reintergration for you...
