I called the Adoption guy today because I hadn't heard anything regarding our background check. We can't proceed until that's done and it has been weeks.
He called me back and explained that some personnel had changed and our paperwork had been "misplaced." He has to fax it to the state again. So, the background check hasn't even been started.
I read lots of blogs about people's adoption experiences and it seems this sort of thing is normal. I'm trying to remember that.
I don't mind the paperwork being lost in the system, but that means that our little ones will spend that much longer in that same system. Pray for them.

It ia wonderful to see that your heart is for the children and not so much concerned about the frustration of delay. I will pray for those babies that the Lord has for your family. My advise is to be encouraged and endure...your little one may have not been born yet! Love Ya
