My husband is the S-3 for his new battalion. (Translation: I never see him.) He loves the job.
After a year of deployment, a crazy time of traveling and moving, it should be time to settle in to being a family again. With my husband's busy job, it's kind of hard to do that.
Long story short; we see each other about three hours a day. Those hours are taken up with catching up with the kids, having dinner, checking facebook...and then it is bedtime. How can we build intimacy when we never have any time together?
We are in a "funky" place. The "honeymoon" is definitely over and there are no sparks or fireworks.
But again, God is Sovreign. We are both committed to the Lord and to our marriage, so we will press on. God will bless our perseverance and the sparks will return. I'll let you know...
